On September 28th, 1929 one of the best singer ever Lata Mageshkar was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh!!

The team of India Daily gives it’s tribute to the “Melody Queen“!! Fans all over the country celebrated her birthday. Suman Chaurasi, a fan who has a collection of over 28,000 albums of the legendary singer, paid tribute to her by cutting birthday cake along with his children and said that he has turned the collection into a museum.

He said that “The museum has collection of her songs from 1932-1990. We have published a book about the best 80 songs of her. Today, we are dedicating it to her

Starting to work as an actress in her father’s musical plays at the age of just 5, Lata Mangeshkar holds the Guinness World Record of recording more than 25,000 solo, duet & chorus-backed songs in 20 Indian languages.

Her last song was in the movie 1920 in which she worked as a playback singer along with Pandit Jasraj and Asha Bhosle, her younger sister.
